It took ages and ages but I finally finished it! I have never worked on a sweater for this long! Over three months of knitting! This is definitely not a project for an impatient knitter. I wouldn’t recommend it as a “Beginners” level pattern either. Yes, the pieces are easy (albeit, incredibly time consuming) to knit but there is no seaming information, no instructions for how to pick up stitches for the sleeves and the illustrations are not great. I’ve knitted many a sweater and while this guy is simple it’s very tedious so be prepared if you plan to take it on! The yarn I used, Cotlin by KnitPicks, is 70% Tanguis Cotton and 30% Linen. It's easy to work with and has great drape and texture. You can feel little twigs of linen in it while you’re working but it smooths out nicely after blocking. I am worried it might pill over time but this project is not for me so I’ll have to get updates. I’m really happy with how this guy turned out. I already have ppl asking me to knit them one too! To which I say, “Hahahaha! That’ll be a million $’s pls!” I’m taking a sweater break!!! Bonus picture of some cute coasters I busted out with the leftover yarn, aren't they precious? I'm waiting for my "Knitted by MoonunitDesigns" labels to show up, then I'll sew one into the collar and ship it off to its forever home!
Have a happy Weekend! Thanks for stopping by! -Ashley
