I did it! I finally finished my Edgevale Tank!
I'm super happy with how this guy turned out.
The pattern is by Kerri Blumer on Ravelry. I knit mine in KnitPicks Gloss in the colorway Blackberry.
I started this top in September but due to pattern design work, commissions and holiday chaos it has taken me almost five months to finish!
I made a few alterations to the back and added an inch or two to the body length but otherwise stayed true to the original pattern. I absolutely recommend Kerri Blumer patterns. The measurements, charts, finishing instructions etc. are meticulous and very well edited. A lot of love goes into her work and you can tell!
The pattern calls for a silk blend yarn so I chose Gloss, I've used Gloss before on socks and was very happy with the turnout. The yarn knits up with a lovely sheen, it does have a bit of a halo but the nylon will keep it nice and sturdy.
Overall I'm very happy with the final product. It turned out super flattering and I'll definitely be wearing it often, especially once the weather starts warming up.
I have a ton of projects on the needles that should be nearing their finish lines soon (hopefully) so I'll be back with some more successful finished knits in no time (knock on wood.)
Let me know what you think of this top! Have you tried a Kerri Knits pattern before? What did you think!? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by!
