I finished my commissioned Fisherman's Rib Scarf!
The pattern I used for this scarf is Fisherman's Rib Muffler by Churchmouse Yarns. This is the second time I've used this pattern, the first was for my lil' bros WSU scarf and hat set. It's a super simple and easy knit.
Just an FYI for this stitch, it does stretch out a LOT after blocking, make sure to take that into consideration while working up this pattern. Before blocking my scarf was 62" long and after it was 85" long! Don't forget to swatch!
I used Swish yarn by KnitPicks in the colorways Squirrel Heather and Lost Lake Heather. It's a worsted weight superwash Merino Wool which knits up beautifully and is soft as butter.
This scarf heads overseas to his new home soon!
I've got one more commission to finish then I will be taking a break from custom order work for a while. I have a lot of pattern designs I really want to dive into and I've realized I don't have time to create original designs while cranking out tons of custom orders!
Are you still working on your Winter knits or are you ready to jump into Spring and Summer projects? I think I'll be in Winter mode for a while longer. Feel free to share what you're working on in the comments below!
Thanks for stopping by!
