Hi guys! Sorry I've been MIA for ages. Something about the chaos of 2020 has made time escape from me. I've been keeping very busy though! If you read my last post (way back in August) you'd know I've been working on a collaboration with MamaSong Shop on Facebook. We partnered up to create lovely custom crochet shawls and I've been busy fulfilling those orders for the last few months. The pattern featured is Perfect Pocket Shawl by Sonja Hood. Yarn is Lion Brand Heartland. We started taking orders at the end of August and as of today I've made 11 shawls! Whew! That's a lot of speed crocheting in 3.5 months! I've made them in quite a few colors, let's review; I've made 3 in Lion Brand Heartland Badlands. I've made 2 in Great Smoky Mountains. I've made 2 in Great Sand Dunes. I've made 2 in Black Canyon Tweed. I've made 1 in Black Canyon. And one last shawl in Lion's Brand Touch of Alpaca in Oxford Grey I am very proud of these guys, I put 100% effort and energy into each and every one of them down to the last detail. That being said, I sure am ready to work on some different stuff! I did manage to slip in one or two other projects while I was cranking these guys out and I will share those with you soon. While we are no longer taking orders for these shawls right now, make sure to catch MamaSong Shops next Live sale, there are a few Ashweather Fibre Arts winter items still available in the shop! Bonus pics of shawls wearing shawls! I'll try to be more consistent in updating the blog in the future! There's not much to talk about when you're making the same thing 11 times! I have more cute commissions to share with you soon and even some cozy new Winter pieces that will be popping into my Etsy shop!
Thanks for reading! -Ashley
