Hi there, I've got another pattern that needs some testing! Meet my Sunset Beanie; The Sunset Beanie is a Cabled Bulky weight hat. I knitted mine in Malabrigo Chunky in the colorway Sunset (above,) and KnitPicks Wool of the Andes Tweed in the colorway Marine Heather held doubled (below.) Pattern Information The hat is an adult Medium size measuring 21.5" in circumference. It's knitted in the round on size 10.5 (6.5mm) needles. (You'll need 24" circular needles in size 10 (6mm) and 10.5 (6.5mm) and also double pointed needles in size 10.5 (6.5mm.) The pattern features 2x2 ribbing at the brim and repeating cables up to the crown. It includes both written instructions and a cable chart. (My version features snap on pom poms, which I found HERE, but are not a requirement for test knits.) The pattern requires about 100 yards of your favorite Bulky Yarn. General Requirements
