Hey there! I've been working on a fun, new project and I thought I'd quickly share it with you today! First of all, I'm totally in love with this yarn! Immediately after finishing this pattern I (accidentally) bought some more. What was I supposed to do? It's irresistible! The yarn is from KnitPicks.com and it's called Capra. It's 85% Merino, 15% Cashmere. It's so soft and delicious. Next time it goes on sale I'm definitely gonna snatch up enough to make myself a sweater. I'm hooked! (FYI They also have a fingering weight version called Capretta.) The pattern I used is called The Age of Brass and Steam by Orange Flower Yarn. This is a super simple kerchief pattern. It would be perfect for anyone who wants to try knitting a shawl for the first time. It's a great introduction to Yarn Overs and Left and Right leaning increases. You can basically use any size yarn for this project depending on the weight you want it to be. You can also make it as long as you like, the increases are consistent throughout the entire project so you could make a tiny bandanna or just keep knitting away until you have a huge shawl! Overall this was a pretty dreamy project to work on. I would totally keep it for myself BUT I look absolutely terrible in this color. I love this shade (Turmeric) but it makes my pasty *ahem* fair, complexion look ashen.
It's for sale in my Etsy shop if you're interested. It would make a lovely Mothers Day gift! You should check out the Etsy shop anyway if you get a chance; I've done a little remodeling and added a few new, exciting items! Thanks for checking out my latest crafty craft! <3 Ashley

This is a review that I thoroughly enjoy. I do not read a lot of reviews, so I am not familiar with a lot of them. Personally, I think that there is a lot to gain from reading reviews, and this just proves that point of mine. If I did not read this review of yours, then I might not have tried to actually read the entire thing. I am expecting great things from you from now on, please meet all of them.
